MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- The chancellor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is resigning.
As of October 1, Carlos Santiago is leaving to take a job as the chief executive officer for the Hispanic College Fund, a nonprofit based in Washington, D.C.
Santiago started at UW-Milwaukee in July 2004, after being provost at the University at Albany.
The UW System says they hope to have a permanent replacement by next summer.
