ORLANDO (WKOW)-- The federal government says Sea World put its trainers at risk during a show that ended with one of the trainers being killed by a killer whale.
Sea World says it will fight a $70,000 fine imposed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Six months ago, the whale grabbed trainer Dawn Brancheau and dragged her underwater, resulting in her death.
OSHA says Sea World knew better, since the whale had caused a death years earlier.
