MADISON (WKOW) -- A doctor accused of fatally stabbing his son in their Oklahoma home is expected in court on June 6.
On Tuesday, District Judge Don Deason set the trial date for next year so prosecutors will have enough time to get a medical examination of 51-year-old Stephen Wolf.
Wolf has been charged by prosecutors with the first-degree murder of 9-year-old Tommy Wolf on Nov. 16.
Police arrested Wolf at his home in Nichols Hill, Okla. Wolf was found in the kitchen alongside son Tommy who had been stabbed to death.
A defense expert's report will be turned over to prosecutors by Sept. 15 by Stephen Wolf's attorney.
