MADISON (WKOW) -- Lottery officials say a Powerball ticket sold in La Crosse County is worth $1 million before taxes.
The ticket, sold this week, matched all five numbers in Wednesday's drawing, making it worth $200,000.
However, the player also bought the Power Play multiplier, which multiplies the value by five. That means the ticket is worth a million dollars, or about $675,000 after taxes.
The winner has six months to claim his or her prize at the lottery headquarters in Madison.
The winning ticket was sold at Festival Foods in Holmen.
Two other tickets this year also became million-dollar winners through the multiplier feature. Those tickets were sold in Fond du Lac and Green Bay.
