Three misplaced bodies found in Arlington Cemetery
WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- Arlington National Cemetery officials found three people buried in the wrong graves.
The Army said Wednesday the burial sites were opened last month and the remains were in mismarked graves.
The discovery comes after an investigation into bookkeeping problems and burial mix-ups at Arlington.
Officials also opened the grave and casket of Marine Pfc. Heath Warner of Canton, Ohio, Wednesday at the request of his father. The grave did hold the remains of Warner, who was killed in Iraq in 2006.
There have been no other family requests for exhumations, according to an Army spokesman.
