MADISON (WKOW) -- State fishery experts are calling on anglers to keep fishing even though the leaves are turning.
The Department of Natural Resources says fall fishing is prime time because many fish species come together as winter approaches and feed during much of the day as food prospects dwindle. They also say in the fall, the mosquitoes supply is limited and fewer anglers on the water.
