JEFFERSON (WKOW) -- Two U.S. Representatives from the state of Wisconsin are set to be recognized on Monday for supporting a strong patent system.
Democratic U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin and Republican U.S. Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, will receive the Public Official Award. It is given by the Association of University Technology Managers, a volunteer organization supporting a patent system to encourage business investment in technology that creates jobs.
Andy Cohn is a vice president of the group and also director of government relations for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, is set to present the award in Jefferson to Baldwin and Sensenbrenner.
