MADISON (WKOW) -- State environmental officials are urging people to contact them for advice on repairs after the recent floods.
The Department of Natural Resources says they can advise people re-installing flood-damaged culverts and bridges.
DNR officials warn that rushed and improper repairs can lead to more washouts in the next flood. They say anyone looking to replace any bridge or culvert larger than 24 inches should contact them.
