HUNGARY (WKOW) -- Officials in Hungary are dealing with an ecological disaster due to toxic red sludge.
The reservoir of an aluminum plant about 100 miles from Budapest failed, releasing the sludge, which spread about 15 square miles onto several towns.
Four people were killed, at least 120 were hurt and six others are still missing.
The sludge is a byproduct of aluminum production. It's toxic if ingested.
