MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Former President Jimmy Carter lent a helping hand on a community project in Minnesota.
Carter and his wife Rosalynn pitched in on building a habitat for humanity house in Minneapolis.
The Carter's started the "2010 Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter work project."
It's an initiative to build, renovate and repair 26 homes this week.
The 86-year-old Carter appears to be fully recovered from the stomach bug that hospitalized him last week.
