WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- North Korea may be going forward with a program to enrich uranium to make nuclear weapons, according to a new report.
Pyongyang "has moved beyond laboratory-scale work" and now can build a "pilot plant" of centrifuges to enrich uranium, says a report by the Institute for Science and International Security.
The report is based on information about equipment purchases North Korea has made from other nations.
Authors of the report advise to either stop the program or to delay its progress through negotiation and sanctions.
