MADISON (WKOW) -- Gio's Garden, a non-profit group that helps parents who have children with disabilities, is hosting a chili cook-off.
It runs from noon until 7 p.m. Saturday at Warner Park. Tickets cost $12 at the door. Children under 12 years old are free.
Food and drinks, including beer, will be sold with all profits going toward Gio's Garden. There will also be live music with bands like Jimmie Newquist of Caroline's Spine and Redemption.
The non-profit plans to open a respite care facility for families with children who have special needs.
