Neenah police identify man found inside car in lake
NEENAH, Wis. (WKOW) – Neenah police have identified the man whose body was found after his car plunged into Lake Winnebago.
Authorities identified him Saturday as 34-year-old William J. Ristow. He had recently moved to Neenah from Crivitz.
Officials found a child's car seat in the vehicle which prompted a dive team to search for other victims, but no one else was found. A Neenah police dispatcher says that Ristow was the only person in the car.
Police say Ristow's car went airborne into the lake after hitting a berm. The car was found submerged in about four feet of water. The windows were rolled up and windshield intact.
