KABUL, Afghanistan (WKOW) -- NATO says two service members have been killed in attacks in Afghanistan.
NATO says the troops died Friday in the east and south of the war-torn country. The nationalities and exact locations of the attacks have not been released.
Eight NATO troops were killed Thursday. Over the past three days, NATO has lost 16 troops in Afghanistan, and at least 44 have been killed so far in October.
This has been the deadliest year for international forces in Afghanistan.
More than 2,000 troops have died since the 2001 U.S.-led invasion.
