UW students and staff are mourning the loss of one of their own. 21-year-old Dylan Ellefson was hit by a car yesterday afternoon.
Police say it happened after he pulled over in the 1400 block of East Johnson Street, because of car trouble.

MADISON (WKOW) -- A spokesperson with UW-Madison has confirmed the man killed in the crash was a student at the UW.
Members of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus community are remembering Dylan Ellefson as a warm and funny friend.
Ellefson, 21, was killed in a two-car accident in the 1400 block of East Johnson Street around 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 24, according to Madison Police. Madison Fire Rescue transported Ellefson to a nearby hospital where he later died, according the report.
Ellefson, originally of Sun Prairie, was majoring in Spanish education in the School of Education.

Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of E Johnson Street, for a two car traffic accident, with life threatening injuries.
A the man was transported by Madison Fire Rescue, to a local hospital, where he died.
Currently, the accident in under investigation.
