MADISON (WKOW) -- As the weather gets worse and the temperatures drop, it can be challenging to find things to do with kids. Sometimes a good children's book is the perfect solution.
Nancy Geary from A Room of One's Own bookstore on State Street came on Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend to talk about a few of her favorite children's books.
Reading is always good for kids, but children's books are also a good introduction to art, says Geary.
Some of her favorite children's books include Children Make Terrible Pets by Peter Brown, A Sick Day for Amos McGee by Philip C. Stead and Shadow by Suzy Lee.
