MADISON (WKOW) -- State Superintendent Tony Evers is stopping by some schools today to present his school financial plan.
Evers will be joined by State Sen. Dale Schultz, a Republican from Richland Center, at Grand Avenue Elementary School in the Sauk Prairie School District Monday morning. In the afternoon, Evers will be at Kennedy Elementary School in Madison.
The plan is based on the "Fair Funding for Our Future" framework that Evers presented in June as a first step to reforming Wisconsin's school funding formula for its public schools. The framework called for funding reform to be fair, sustainable, and transparent.
