MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A former Koss Corp. executive convicted of embezzling $34 million from the company will spend 11 years in federal prison.
Federal prosecutors were seeking 16 to 20 years for Sujata "Sue" Sachdeva. She pleaded guilty to six counts of felony fraud.
Sachdeva was a former vice president of finance for Koss.
She pleaded guilty to using company money to pay her personal bills after she spent lavishly on clothes and jewelry. Sachdeva's attorneys said their client has bipolar disorder and a compulsive shopping disorder.
