FBI: Aruba studying Holloway's dental records

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (WKOW) – The FBI says Dutch authorities are comparing the dental records of missing U.S. teen Natalee Holloway with a jawbone found in Aruba last week.

The FBI sent records electronically and shipped dental impressions, a spokesman in Birmingham, Ala. said.

The Aruba prosecutor's office says the bone was sent to the Netherlands for analysis.

A tourist found it last Friday and took it to the front desk of a hotel.

Officials have not said whether the bone is human, but the missing teen's father says a forensic scientist told a friend the bone is from a human female.

Dave Holloway says he has not received any new official information about the investigation.

Natalee Holloway was 18 years old when she disappeared in 2005 during a high school graduation trip to the Dutch Caribbean Islands.
