WELLINGTON, New Zealand (WKOW) -- More than two dozen people are missing after an explosion rocks a New Zealand coal mine.
Officials say 27 workers are underground after Friday's blast. Five other workers managed to make their way out.
Officials suspect the explosion was caused by a buildup of gas.
Rescue workers are unable to enter the mine yet for safety reasons.
Officials don't know if all of those underground are together or in separate groups.
