MADISON (WKOW) -- A woman may have totaled her Ford Mustang after she hit a buck, but it may be worth more to her.
Brenda Morga a 300-pound buck in rural Richland County this past month while with her 4-year-old daughter and her 18-year-old-niece.
After calming her passengers, Morga got a sense the deer could be special when a truck driver started taking photos.
The buck has 15 points, a near two-foot chasm between its antler tips and three rare "drop tines." Those are antler points growing down from the main beam instead of up, a characteristic of older bucks.
She tells the Wisconsin State Journal that she's been offered up to $10,000. After people started calling at all hours and stopping by, she says she sent the head and antlers out of state.
