MADISON (WKOW)-- The Boys & Girls Club of Dane County help hundreds of children reach for their dreams.
But, they can't make it happen without the help from volunteers.
Previously known as the South Madison Neighborhood Center, the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County opened its doors to serve youth aged 7 to 18 at its Taft St. location in January 1999.
Boys & Girls Club of Dane County expanded to the Allied-Dunn's Marsh neighborhood in October 2003 and operated out of an apartment complex there. Boys & Girls Club of Dane County broke ground on the Allied Family Center in August 2005.
In June of 2006, the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County Allied Family Center opened its doors in the Allied-Dunns Marsh neighborhood.
