MADISON (WKOW) -- Wisconsin deer hunters will get another shot at some venison this week as the state's antlerless hunt gets begins.
The hunt will run December 9-12. The state's traditional nine-day firearm season ended November 28.
State wildlife officials are urging all hunters to wear blaze orange during the antlerless hunt. They also warn hunters to be on the lookout for cross-country skiers and snowmobilers who might not realize another hunt is under way.
