SEOUL, South Korea (WKOW) -- A top U.S. military official reaffirms the United States' commitment to helping South Korea defend itself from North Korean aggression.
Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Mike Mullen spoke Wednesday at a news conference with his South Korean counterpart, General Han Min-koo.
This announcement comes after North Korea rained artillery on a South Korean island in November.
Mullen says South Korea's readiness to defend its territory and citizens is unmistakable, and his country's commitment to helping you do that is "unquestioned."
