GREEN BAY, Wis. (WKOW) -- Green Bay Packer fans are already thinking about playoff tickets. If they host a playoff game at Lambeau Field there will be about 6,000 tickets available.
Typically, if the Packers make the playoffs, season-ticket holders claim all the available postseason tickets. That has been the case in 2007 and 2009.
But a team official announced Friday that all requests by season-ticket holders of both the Green and Gold packages have been filled.
It's the first time since 2003 that tickets were still available after season-ticket holder requests were filled. In 2003, about 13,000 tickets were sold to the public.
Team spokesman Aaron Popkey told the Green Bay Press-Gazette that details regarding the purchase of tickets will be released if the Packers qualify to host a playoff game.
