MADISON (WKOW) -- The wind chill advisory for most of the state has just been canceled, however it remains bitterly cold outside.
Some school district have canceled classes and many kids in the area got to sleep in today with a 2-hour delay.
Wind chills could reach as low as -20 to -25 degrees. The wind will diminish tonight, but with the frigid air in place, lows will drop close to -10.
It will remain frigid on Tuesday, but temperatures will gradually moderate by Thursday, with highs in the middle 20s. Light snow will be possible Wednesday night into Thursday, but little to no accumulation is expected.
