LOS ANGELES (WKOW) -- Executors of Michael Jackson's estate are demanding the Discovery Channel cancel plans for a show that will reenact Jackson's autopsy.
John Branca and John McClain sent an angry letter Wednesday to Discovery Communications. They said the planned show is in shockingly bad taste and insensitive to the feelings of Jackson's family.
The executors called an Internet ad promoting the show sickening. The ad shows Jackson's sequin gloved hand sticking out from a coroner's gurney.
The letter accused Discovery of trying to dupe the public into believing the show has medical value.
A call to Discovery after-hours Wednesday was not immediately returned.
