CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (WKOW) -- Space shuttle Discovery's final flight is now delayed until the end of February.
NASA had been aiming for an early February liftoff, but managers decided to take more time to complete repairs to Discovery's external fuel tank.
Workers found cracks in metal struts on the massive tank after a failed launch attempt in November. They found more cracks last week after the shuttle was returned to its hangar.
Discovery is loaded with supplies for the International Space Station.
The mission is currently the next-to-last for NASA's 30-year shuttle program. Another flight, however, may be added this summer.
