TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- The youngest victim of the mass shooting in Arizona has been remembered at her funeral for her love of baseball, animals and swimming with her brother.
The service for 9-year-old Christina Taylor Green was held Thursday in Tucson. Those who attended say her father talked about the places the family had lived and traveled, and that he would always cherish coming home after long business trips.
Christina's casket was surrounded by flowers, including pink roses. Her best friend sat with the family and escorted the small casket into the church.
Billy Joel's "Lullaby" was performed at the end.
Generally, reporters were not allowed inside, but The Associated Press talked to several people who attended.
