LANCASTER, Pa. (WKOW) – Pennsylvania police want to look at the cell phones of four high school football players killed in a car crash to see if they were recording a video to post on YouTube.
A statement from someone at the scene of Sunday's crash suggested the teens wanted to record a video, said South Londonderry Township police Chief Jeffrey Arnold. Police were later told the teens did not record footage.
Arnold says he is trying to get a warrant for the victims' phones and possibly those of others at the scene.
Manheim Central High School freshman DeVaughn Lee, sophomores Nicolas Bryson and Cody Hollinger and junior John Griffith had left a team breakfast shortly before the crash.
