Carbon monoxide exposure in winter

MADISON (WKOW) -- With all the cold weather this weekend, health officials have a reminder for you. Carbon monoxide exposure is dangerous and more common in winter. Symptoms include headache, fatigue, and dizziness. Officials say, the best way to protect yourself and your family is to install a carbon monoxide detector.

If you don't already have one, now is the time to get one. They will be mandatory by law in Wisconsin on February 1, 2011.
