MANITOWOC (WKOW) -- President Barack Obama will be traveling to Wisconsin one day after his State of the Union address.
Mr. Obama will be coming to Manitowoc on Wednesday, and will spend part of the day at Orion Energy Systems.
The company makes energy saving light fixtures and other green technologies and has been growing quickly.
Orion plans to add nearly 100 employees this year.
They've spent the last week quietly preparing for the President's arrival.
Kevin Crawford, with Orion Energy Systems, says, "He's gonna come visit with our employees and then afterwards he's making a set of remarks and as far as I can tell, I'm kind of a politico, but that first speech after the State of the Union is the important speech."
This isn't the first time the green technology company has been at the center of politics. Both gubernatorial candidates brought their campaigns through the plant last year.
And in 2009 -- President Obama talked about the company in a national address.
