New Holstein superindendent arrested for attempting child sex crime
New Holstein, Wis. (WKOW)-- A Calumet County school district is searching for a new administrator after its superintendent was arrested for trying to facilitate a child sex crime.
According to the criminal complaint, New Holstein superintendent Christopher Nelson set up a meeting with an undercover police officer posing as a 15-year-old-boy. Nelson faces up to 40 years, if convicted.
The New Holstein School Board will meet tomorrow to appoint an interim district administrator.
