Military to be trained in new law openly allowing gays
WASHINGTON (WKOW)-- Pentagon leaders are in the process of putting together a plan that will train military forces on the new law allowing gays to serve openly in the military.
Military services are expected to get about three months to train their forces in the new law. There will be three levels of training for troops, commanders and their key administrators, recruiters and other leaders. The plan will focus on personnel, recruiting, and other regulations that must be changed.
The plan has not yet been finalized or made public.
