GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- Tourism officials say the Packers' Super Bowl appearance helps boost local businesses too.
Spokesperson of the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau, Brenda Krainik, says they anticipate thousands of fans to visit the city this weekend for the game. That helps businesses to make extra profit, especially when the Packers didn't have a playoff game this season.
This is going to be the Packers' first title game appearance in 13 years.
Krainik says tourism officials are making use of the opportunity in Texas by handing out visitor's guides to NFL fans to visit next year.
