PITTSBURGH (WKOW) -- According to the organizers of a Pittsburgh exhibit of fan artifacts, Steeler fans live and die with their team. The University exhibit attempts to make sense of Steeler Nation.
The exhibit has a picture of 55-year-old James Henry Smith from his funeral viewing in 2005. His body is poised in a recliner in front of a television showing Steelers highlights.
Astria Suparak, Director of Carnegie Mellon University's Miller Gallery, says the exhibit is Steelers fandom in a nutshell.
The exhibit, "Whatever it Takes: Steelers Fan Collections, Rituals and Obsessions" is running through Sunday.
