Man's Super Bowl attendance streak ends

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- The streak has come to an end for a man featured in a Visa television commercial for never missing a Super Bowl in its 44 year history.

Family says 79-year-old Robert Cook, of Brown Deer, Wis., has been hospitalized and sent his two daughters to Dallas instead of himself. Cook's daughter, Patti Winter, says her father was sick over the holidays and it has caught up with him again, so he will not make it to this year's Super Bowl in Dallas.

Kylie Cook tells WMTJ-TV that her trip to the Super Bowl is bittersweet- she is excited to go, but wishes her father was along as well. The daughters enlarged a photo of their dad's head and attached it to a photo stick so they can hold it up at the game.
