Packer fans in Madison celebrate Super Bowl XLV win

MADISON (WKOW) -- Fans across the country are ecstatic about the Packers winning Super Bowl XLV.

In Madison, it's no exception.

27 News spoke to fans in Madison, as they celebrated a green and gold win.

Many were on pins and needles - but the Packers are Super Bowl champs.

"I'm so excited! Go Pack Go!" said Ruth Harp, Packer fan right after they found out the Packers won the Super Bowl Championship.

"I'm at a loss for words this is absolutely beautiful to me," said Matt Rowe, Packer Fan.

"It was the last 20 minutes that was so intense I'm sitting here coloring! But now I'm like oh, thank goodness!" said Peggy Haker, Packer Fan.

"We'll look back on this 10 to 15 years from now and its gunna be a lot of fun we have a lot of years to come," said Jerry Pazdernik, celebrating the win with his daughter, Anna.

"I think the Packers played pretty well I think defense played now we expected," said Perry Kell.

Packer fans were also celebrating at UW.

"The Union its the best place to watch the game there's lots of fellow fans," said Tamara Grossart, Packer fan.

"It was an experience when I was young but now that I'm older and more mature it really hit home this time," said Ryan Allsopp, Packer fan.
