MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is telling Wisconsin residents to keep up the fight against Gov. Scott Walker's collective bargaining bill.
Moore addressed thousands of protesters outside the state Capitol on Saturday. He implored them to keep up their struggle, comparing Madison's fight to Egypt's revolt. He said the wealthy have overreached, first taking the working class' money and then taking their souls by shutting them up at the bargaining table.
The crowd roared in approval.
Hundreds of thousands of protesters have converged on the Capitol for nearly three weeks straight to rally against the bill, which would strip most public workers of almost all their collective bargaining rights.
