WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- Military women are twice as likely to face divorce as their male counterparts, says the Pentagon. The rate jumps to three times as likely for enlisted women.
As compared to their civilian peers, military women have a higher divorce rate, but the rate is lower for military men.
Around 220,000 women have served in Afghanistan and Iraq, in roles ranging from helicopter pilots to police officers.
