Capitol police: Enter through ground-level N. Hamilton St, King St entrances
MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin State Capitol is open during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.
Capitol police say people can enter only through the ground-level North Hamilton Street and King Street entrances. People with physical disabilities and Capitol staff can enter at the ground-level Martin Luther King, Jr. Street entrance.
People will go through security as they enter at either North Hamilton or South Hamilton.
The Department of Administration announced Monday that people can no longer sleep on the Capitol lawn or face fines.
