MADISON (WKOW) -- Some Madison alders have begun drafting an ordinance that would block the state from using Metro buses.
Newly released video shows Senate Republicans making a quick exit on a Metro bus Wednesday after their controversial vote on the budget repair bill.
Capitol police had asked Metro Transit to supply the bus as a way to safely get the senators out of the Capitol.
Metro says it has a long history of working with Capitol police and expects to be reimbursed.
Alder Larry Palm is sponsoring the city ordinance. He says the state has other resources.
