MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz helped unveil Green Madison, a program that will help residents save energy and money.
The program is funded by a $7.2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy.
Mayor Cieslewicz says Green Madison will help families save money on energy bills and reduce our carbon footprint.
The new program will also provide low-interest loans to help residents make improvements on their homes to conserve energy.
Cieslewicz says Green Madison is also about creating jobs.
