UNDATED (WKOW) -- If my father doesn't run then maybe I will. That according to Republican U.S. Sen. Rand Paul. He's considering a run for the presidency in 2012 if his father decides not to.
Paul told The Associated Press in an interview Thursday that he is being urged by supporters in several states to make a run if Republican U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas skips the 2012 election.
Rand Paul said his father, who ran in 2008, has not yet made up his mind. The freshman senator, a tea party sensation, said the only decision he has made is he will not run against his father.
