MADISON (WKOW)-- A Madison-native has a unique perspective on the events happening at the Capitol.

Pulitzer Prize winner, David Maraniss, is an associate editor at The Washington Post and has written a number of best selling books including on Bill Clinton and Vince Lombardi.

Maraniss will speak Friday night at Wisconsin Union Theater, Memorial Union, 800 Langdon St., from 6-7:30pm.

Then on Saturday, a New York choreographer will present a dance inspired by They Marched Into Sunlight.

Maraniss' book is about the 1967 UW student protests against Dow Chemical and the North Vietnamese ambush of a U.S. battalion.

The dance will be performed at 8 p.m. Saturday at Wisconsin Union Theater.
