Madison police investigating home invasion

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police are investigating what they're calling a home invasion on the city's east side.

Just before 10 p.m. Monday, officers were called to a home on the 2500 block of E. Johnson St.

Police say three men wearing black ski masks busted down the door of a home and told the two people inside to get on the ground. Officers say the men were armed.

The suspects got away with some items, but police have not released what those items were.

Investigators brought in a K9 to track the suspects, but the attempt was unsuccessful.

Police say no one was hurt. They say there is no danger to the public.
