Trump lacks majority support

A majority of Americans say they would never support Donald Trump for president, according to a new national poll conducted by Quinnipiac University.

The survey indicates 58 percent of the public says they would never vote for the businessman, real estate mogul and reality TV star.

The same number said they would never back former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin.

The survey also showed 15 percent of those surveyed were enthusiastic about Palin. Only nine percent were enthusiastic about Trump's candidacy.

Palin has not indicated she's running, but has said she's not ruling anything out. Trump says he will announce by June whether he will run for President.
