MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- March was the 19th straight month in which a record number of passengers passed through Milwaukee's airport.
Almost 900,000 passengers passed through General Mitchell International Airport, marking a nearly 4 percent increase over March of 2010.
The airport served more than 2.2 million passengers in the first quarter this year, up nearly 3 percent over the same period last year.
Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele says the airport plays a big role in bringing business and tourism to Milwaukee County.
