Pair of serious motorcycle crashes in Dodge Co.

DODGE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Two male motorcyclists had to be airlifted to separate hospitals after solo crashes less than an hour apart in Dodge County.

The first crash occurred at 4:34 p.m. when Stuart White, 48, failed to negotiate a curb and was ejected from his motorcycle at Canada Island Rd. and Minnema Rd. in the Town of Fox Lake. 

The second crash happened 50 minutes later at 5:24 when Jason Stewart, 41, lost control of his motorcycle near County Highway ME and County Highway E in the Town of Hustisford.  He was also ejected from his bike, which ended up in a ditch. 

Neither man was wearing a helmet. 

White, from Randolph, WI, was transported by Flight for Life to UW Hospital in Madison. 

Stewart, from Beaver Dam, WI, had to be taken to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee via Flight for Life.

Dodge County did not release the status of either motorcyclist Sunday morning. The crashes are under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
