Columbia Co. (WKOW) -- A Columbia County nurse has returned home after she went down to help those in need in Joplin, Mo.
Janelle Zacho headed down to Joplin just after the EF-5 tornado hit two weeks ago.
She spent nearly a week there treating hundreds of patients. She says they needed everything from tetanus shots to mental health exams.
Zacho says the need will be there for months, even years, as the community rebuilds.
The EF-5 tornado killed at least 138 people.
